EARTHRES was selected for this project based on our excellent track record of providing outstanding service and innovative solutions on past projects, and for the training and experience of our NACE-Certified team of technicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:52px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-solution\">The Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Covering an expansive 300-mile stretch of the client\u2019s intrastate gas pipeline network, this project required meticulous planning and execution as EARTHRES checked the lines to identify improvement opportunities to upgrade and optimize the client\u2019s cathodic protection (CP) system. Immediate modifications and adjustments were made in the field to improve the performance of their galvanic and impressed circuit cathodic protection system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:52px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignwide size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/earthres.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/300-mile-Midstream-Pipeline-Network-Cathodic-Protection-Optimization.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1681\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.earthres.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/300-mile-Midstream-Pipeline-Network-Cathodic-Protection-Optimization.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.earthres.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/300-mile-Midstream-Pipeline-Network-Cathodic-Protection-Optimization-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.earthres.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/300-mile-Midstream-Pipeline-Network-Cathodic-Protection-Optimization-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:52px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The EARTHRES team of engineers and technicians provided project oversight, visual inspection, measurement of direct current (DC) structure to soil potentials and DC output of existing rectifiers, long-term test station repair, rectifier tuning, repaired failed insulated flange locations, field repair of anodes, and short-circuiting issue resolutions. After compiling compliance documentation, EARTHRES also developed an on-going maintenance schedule and provided cathodic protection training for client staff.
